After celebrating five prosperous anniversaries, theFood Network New York City Wine & Food Festivalis at it again, for their sixth year. And the guest of honor? One of the best cuisine cities in the entire world—the Big Apple.

Come join the celebratory festivities with savory food and deliciously tasty wine. The Wine & Food Festivaltakes place Thursday, October 17th through Sunday, October 20th, 2013. Presented by Food & WineMagazine, this amazing culinary event should not be missed. Palates will be pleased and foodie minds will be cultivated with delicious tastes to relish. Broaden your education with the world’s best winemakers, spirits producers, and chefs. What’s not to love about this innovative event?

Not only does this festival bring together America’s cherished chefs on TV and epic figures in the culinary world, but also all proceeds go towards fighting childhood hunger. One hundred percent of this popular festival’s earnings go to two amazing hunger-relief programs: the Food Bank For New York City, battling against hunger in the five boroughs (Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island), and Share Our Strength, a national non-profit organization moving to put a stop to childhood hunger in America.

The festival has a variety of awesome events on each day, Thursday through Sunday, to participate in. With each day’s agenda, you are sure to have a life-changing culinary experience. On Thursday the 17th, have aRockin’ Cuisine Dinner presented by Wine Spectator and hosted by Bill Telepan and Andrea Reusing—part of the Bank of America Dinner Series.

On Friday the 18th, attend the Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats and hosted byRachael Ray. Or maybe Saturday is the day for you, attending the Martha Stewart Cake-Decorating Mater Class and Pizza Making 101 with Jim Lahey. Ringing in the close to the festival, Sunday’s events are just as appealing from Master Sushi Rolling Class withMorimoto to Artisanal Ice Cream Making with Phin And Phebes of Brooklyn.
