Escape the cold! Refresh and rejuvenate with the Mall at Chestnut Hill’s vibrant Step Into Spring event. The spring festivities begin this Saturday, April 5th. Several gorgeous displays will be showcased throughout the mall, highlighting some of New England’s most prized and beloved gems this time of year – beautiful flowers. The displays will also include some “rare and unusual varieties,” so you will simply have to attend and enjoy the splendor.
To kick off this season, Step Into Spring will be spotlighting two major events hosted by the Mall of Chestnut Hill, including the Floral Hat & Garden Display(this Saturday, April 5th), and family-friendly Children’s Little Planet Helpers (Saturday, April 26th). To give you a little taste of what you may find at the mall, some of the brilliant participating florists and landscapers include Fiori Secchi Gardens, Harding Botanicals, Interior by M.S., and more! You will be the lucky one to experience their amazing work and creations…all you have to do is attend.
Floral Hat & Garden Display is a special event for all guests to relish a gorgeous display of floral hats, designed specifically by the talented Mount Ida College Fashion Students. The unique fashions will be set up for viewing throughout the common areas of the mall, against exquisite garden backdrops and breathtaking flower arrangements. From 1:00-4:00pm, Mall at Chestnut Hill has a great surprise for all guests, introducing a visit from the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association. Calling all gardeners and passionate flower enthusiasts: the Association will be available to answer any questions about gardening tips, plants and much, much more.
Children’s Little Planet Helpers will consist of an exciting, family-friendly afternoon full of storybook readings (by “local public figures”), fun Earth Day crafts, awesome Vegetable Circus entertainment, a lively celebrity appearance from the beloved Peter Rabbit, and many more surprises. No registration is required to attend this event, and it is completely complimentary.

Floral Hat & Garden Display will take place on this Saturday, April 5th from 2pm-3pm
Massachusetts Master Gardener Association will be set up shop on Saturday, April 5th as well, prepared to answer questions from 1pm to 4pm
Children’s Little Planet Helpers will take place on Saturday, April 26th, from 1pm to 3pm. Take the family, and have an afternoon full of fun!
