On Saturday May 10th, the bakery team at Whole Foods will be hosting a sweet activity. Mom will surely love this divinely sugary, creative and personal gift. The class is free and begins at 12pm.

* 106th Annual Lilac Sunday Celebration
Treat Mom to the very best of Boston’s food trucks at the Annual Lilac Sunday Celebration. For this special day, the Arboretum will be open for picnicking, so you can savor some delights while admiring the gorgeous scene in bloom. The trucks will be serving a variety of foods from divine French macarons and luscious homemade ice cream sandwiches to tasty tacos and much, much more. The food trucks will be parked at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum on May 11th (Mother’s Day) from 11am to 3pm. Children’s activities will also take place, in addition to tours throughout the day to enjoy the Arboretum’s picturesque lilac collection. The event goes from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free! * Mother’s Day Brunch at Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel
The Fairmont Copley Plaza will be hosting a delicious brunch in their gorgeous Oval Room from 11am to 3pm on Sunday. There will be a mouthwatering buffet, in addition to a Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar, so Mom can sip and savor with close friends and family against a backdrop of live entertainment. The menu includes a variety of delights, from a raw bar to light salads and divine brioche cinnamon French toast. There will be made-to-order waffles and fluffy omelets, in addition to carving stations. And the cherry topping to this brunch? Take Mom out on the harbor and hop aboard the Spirit of Boston for its annual lunch and dinner Mother’s Day cruises. Make this holiday a memorable one with the entire family, taking part in celebratory festivities and fun aboard this fine vessel. A sumptuous buffet will be served, accompanied by incredible views of the Boston skyline on the boat’s great outdoor deck. There will also be live DJ entertainment and dancing!
