If you are a general gear head, automotive, foreign sports car or classic car enthusiast, Joonbug has just the event for you this summer. Escape the city heat and take a spectacular day trip to the trendy town of New Canaan, Connecticut for a cup of Joe and a morning full of admiring freshly polished classics and cars from all around.
Acclaimed car show Caffeine & Carburetors never disappoints. It’s an awesome event where car fanatics gather together, sharing the love and passion for two interests…caffeine and carburetors (pun intended)! It certainly resembles Christmas morning for all car enthusiasts. The event is held at Zumbach’s Gourmet Coffee, where shiny cars line all the way down New Canaan’s Pine Street. Whether you decide to drive your classic to the show or take the train in from the city, this event is well worth the ride.
All vehicles are welcome for showing, although Caffeine & Carburetors puts a major prominence on foreign sports cars. People start gathering around 8am, anticipating the exciting day ahead. Savor a cup of coffee while strolling down Pine Street. And after the show ends, take a walk over to the chic boutiques and restaurants on Elm Street. From unique finds like New Canaan Olive Oil and jewelry boutique Pennyweights to the delicious Crumbs Bakery, there is a lot to fill up your afternoon with.
