Surprise your date with tickets to Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s Third Thursdays.  This chic, hip and trendy museum is certainly the place to be for date night in the Bean.

On Thursday, June 19th, the museum will be entertaining the masses with Third Thursdays: Garden Party.  Stroll with your date through the romantic gardens with a melodic backdrop of Brazilian ‘Bossa Nova y Samba’ at Calderwood Hall.  The moonlight cascades throughout and the drinks are plenty.  A luscious cash wine bar will be set up around the Courtyard, and the amazing Café G will be open to serve hungry patrons dinner, snacks and drinks.  The café offers a unique changing menu, incorporating creative dishes inspired by the Museum and its awesome collection.  To reserve your tickets for this event, click here.

On Thursday, July 17th commencing at 5:30pm, the museum is hosting an exciting event.  Isabella Stewart Gardner, a renowned art collector and humanitarian, was known to have a worldly group of friends – including writers, artists, scholars and talented musicians.  According to the museum, they all congregated “under the social medium of Gardner’s palace.”  Isabella Steward Gardner Museum wants to present that “social circle” to modern-day urbanites with the Social Circles Third Thursday event.  Intimate conversations will take place, in addition to a local DJ in the museum’s breathtaking Courtyard, and an innovative project taking place in the studio.  Café G will also be open for this evening affair, in addition to a cash wine bar.  Click here to buy your tickets.

When you’re finished with dinner, take the T into the heart of downtown Boston.  The Public Garden is a perfectly romantic spot for an evening stroll.  Surrounded by a plethora of vibrant tulip gardens, flower patches, willow trees and the backdrop of lights from Boston’s skyscrapers, this destination is unlike any other in Beantown.  It is such a peaceful, serene and simply perfect niche in the center of the city (and gated off from the hustle and bustle of Boston’s streets).

Boston’s very own Swan Boats in the Public Garden have been a staple to this amazing city’s tradition for more than 130 flourishing years.  Take a charming ride through the Garden’s lagoon on one of the boats; it is truly such a romantic experience.  From April to June 20th, the boats are open from 10am to 4pm, and beginning on June 21st lasting until Labor Day, the boats will be taking rides from 10am to 5pm.

After your boat ride, walk on over to the Thinking Cup on Tremont St. for some delicious pastries to share and a coffee drink to accompany.  If you want to take them to go, stroll right across the street to the Boston Common’s gazebo, or one of the many benches, to enjoy your savory treats.
