Beantown is bringing together all lively soccer enthusiasts, athletes, locals and tourists to celebrate the World Cup. Restaurants around town will be cooking and shaking up unique “Brazilian-inspired” specialties for the occasion. Break out your jerseys, get your World Cup mojo on and join in on the fun!

Not only is Cask ‘n Flagon a prime place to watch the games throughout the epic tournament (with over 60 HD TVs), this venue has the perfect drink to accompany. Their Caipirinha is simply luscious prepared with Boca Loca cachaça, sugar and freshly mashed limes. This drink will be available for savoring from June 12th through July 13th.

Haru is preparing the same cocktail, the Caipirinha, but with their own unique twist: Leblón cachaça complementing the sugar and muddled lime.
Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake

Poe’s Choripán Sausage Sandwich is a mouthwatering must-try…and perfect delight to celebrate and honor the World Cup. This specialty is made with spicy sausage, jalapeño sriracha mustard and chimichurri on a fresh French baguette.

Tip Tap’s Wild Boar Feijoada is simply out of this world; a savory, colorful palette of smoked & braised wild boar ribs and shoulder served in an authentic black bean broth with rice, collard greens and tomato vinaigrette. This dish is offered when the Brazilian national team plays.

Somerville’s Brass Union will be serving their very own Choripán, a delicious hotdog prepared South American-style with chimichurri, chorizo and Iggy’s bread. This venue is also offering Plantain Chips served with the house hot sauce and will be available on the late night menu and as a savory side dish.

SKYBOKX109 has a few scrumptious options on their specialty World Cup menu. All of theses plates will be offered from June 12th through July 13th. And every guest who comes to SKYBOKX109 to watch the World Cup on the venue’s impressive selection of 22 flat screen TVs will have the opportunity to win a pair of New England Revolution tickets.
The venue’s Maracana Plate is a juicy grilled London broil served with jasmine rice, sweet plantains, black beans and pico de gallo. This traditional dish will certainly not disappoint the foodie connoisseurs! If you want to stay true to staple game-day food, SKYBOKX109 has Brazilian Glazed Wings prepared with an incredible citrus glaze, in addition to serving a Fried Yucca Basket with a side of garlic-cilantro dipping sauce. Last but not least, SKYBOKX109’s Caipirinha is a must-order cocktail to accompany any of these plates. The venue prepares theirs with cachaça, lime, sugar, splash soda water and a garnish of fresh sugar cane.
