While many urbanites are heading out on the boat or retreating to the beach this 4th of July weekend, Sirio is getting the party going…in the city!
Sirio Ristorante’s savvy bar is the hot place to be this weekend, where the cocktails will be flowing and the 2014 World Cup elimination rounds will be streaming. Sirio’s bartenders will be sporting their favorite team’s jersey. Join in on the hype by showcasing your team spirit too! Each time a team wins a game, bar guests and diners representing that country will be provided with a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
Kick back, relax and get to know Sirio’s two sexy specialty cocktails – Copa Marácuja & Copa Carioca:
Copa Marácuja
* 1.5oz Leblon Cachaca
* 1.5oz Passion Fruit Puree
* 1 small lime, quartered
* 2 sugar cubes
Muddle the sugar cubes and lime in a shaker. Add the cachaca and puree, then shake all of the ingredients together with ice. Pour the contents into a large snifter glass. Garnish each glass with a lime wheel.
Copa Carioca
* 1oz Leblon Cachaca
* 1oz Cedilla Liqueur
* 10 blueberries
* 1 small lime, quartered
* 2 sugar cubes
* Splash of Strawberry Puree
Muddle the lime, sugar cubes and blueberries in a shaker. Next, add the spirits and puree. Shake with ice. Pour all of the contents into a rocks glass. Lastly, garnish each glass with a skewer of strawberries and blueberries.
