This Sunday, July 27th is an extremely exciting, anticipated holiday for Scotch connoisseurs and fanatics.  All hail National Scotch Day!

If you’re hosting celebratory festivities of your own on Sunday, William Grant & Sons has you covered with a superb selection of Scotch whiskey.  The Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel Sherry Cask and Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky will have eager guests craving more.

William Grant & Sons provided two luscious cocktails to whip up with their Scotch whiskey, including the Blood & Sand and The Apple Ballini:

Blood & Sand

1 part Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky

1 part Lillet Rouge (or other Sweet Vermouth)

1 part Cherry Herring Liqueur

1 part fresh orange juice

Half-moon slice of orange for garnish

Pour all of the ingredients in a mixing glass and stir together with ice.  Pour the cocktail over ice in a rocks glass.  Garnish the finished product with an orange half-moon slice.

2 parts Balvenie DoubleWood

3 parts fresh, cloudy Fiji apple juice

4 parts brut champagne

Bring all of the ingredients together in a flute.  Gently stir the mixture before serving.
