William Grant & Sons provided two luscious cocktails to whip up with their Scotch whiskey, including the Blood & Sand and The Apple Ballini:
Blood & Sand
1 part Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky
1 part Lillet Rouge (or other Sweet Vermouth)
1 part Cherry Herring Liqueur
1 part fresh orange juice
Half-moon slice of orange for garnish
Pour all of the ingredients in a mixing glass and stir together with ice. Pour the cocktail over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish the finished product with an orange half-moon slice.
The Apple Ballini
2 parts Balvenie DoubleWood
3 parts fresh, cloudy Fiji apple juice
4 parts brut champagne
Bring all of the ingredients together in a flute. Gently stir the mixture before serving.
