Powerhouse duo Heather Stevenson and Chris Roche founded Thirst Juice Co. with their idea arising from the couple’s passion for activeness and great food.  Devoted runners and home cooks, the couple decided to come back to Boston, Stevenson’s hometown.  They believed that Thirst would enhance Boston’s options for fast healthy food and juice bars. The duo dedicated countless time designing smoothie and juice recipes that would captivate both the newcomer and sophisticated green juice drinkers.  Their goal is to eliminate the prevalent misconception that “healthy” beverages can’t be both rewarding to your health and taste great at the same time.

When entering Thirst Juice Co., a chic, vibrant interior design will greet your eyes.  The interior design highlights white and bright green hues in addition to modern, precise lines.  Branded wooden crates add a trendy feel to Thirst Juice Co., coinciding with the venue’s innovative rustic flairs.  Two standing counters are perfect for the customer who wants to enjoy a wheatgrass shot, while relaxing their feet on one of the counter’s foot rails.

Thirst Juice Co. offers all of their juices made-to-order, in addition to featuring several in bottled form.  Savor your made-to-order acai bowl or smoothie with an enhanced addition of one of the venue’s “boosts,” including chia seeds and maca powder.  Thirst Juice Co.’s savory soups are prepared daily in small batches…perfect for lunch!  And for the breakfast connoisseurs, Thirst spotlights steel cut oatmeal on their menu in the morning, along with hot tea, coffee from Massachusetts’s Barrington Coffee Roasting Co. and on-the-go snacks.

I am extremely excited to say that many of Thirst’s products including its soups, smoothies, juices, oatmeal and acai bowls are vegan and gluten free.  In a world where so many people have stomach issues from processed food, and celiac disease, it is truly refreshing to have a place where their food products take this into consideration.
