I had the awesome opportunity to check out the trendy Luna Sur this evening in Midtown. A big thank you for the invite and absolutely amazing dinner + dessert…so excited to feature you in my next article! But for now, a little taste of my experience at the lovely Luna: Fish Tacos Ricos prepared on soft corn tortillas with cilantro, lime, juicy pineapple, onions & salsa de aguacate (top left); creamy, chunky Guacamole with homemade corn chips; Chicken Tacos Ricos (bottom right); and last but certainly not least, “Heavenly” Tres Leches Cake…and boy oh boy does it live up to its name! Luna Sur prepares their Tres Leches Cake to utter perfection – airy and light sponge cake soaked in a divine three milk mixture; sweetened condensed and heavy cream in addition to evaporated milk. The cake is topped with sweet merengue…completely sinful and totally worth every calorie. Of course, it would just be totally unfair to leave a crumb behind!
